Screws on barrel. Replaces gas cylinder nut. Threaded 3/8-24 for restructure plug. One-piece construction, milled from 1144 steel. Parkerized.

     Bill Guiette, our prop master, has developed a blank firing adapter ("BFA")  for the Garand rifle which is vastly superior to the "GI" BFA and less expensive than the restricted barrel approach to blank adapting.  Bill's BFA screws on like the GI BFA, but allows the gas plug to fully seat in the gas piston tube, rather than only its flange keeping the GI BFA from flying off the barrel.  It's also made of a much stronger steel than the GI BFA and is not prone to bursting as some of them have done.  Last, but certainly not least, the muzzle of Bill's BFA is threaded for the restricers he uses in the barrel blank adaptations, so that the restricter can be tailored to the rifle.
