Greetings,
I used to be a member of the CHG 12 years ago. We had a parade and event for the VJ day in long beach where members of the CHG portrayed the flag raising over Iwo. This was for the 50 anniversary of VJ day,1995,. I portrayed Joe Rosenthal, and took this photograph during the practice session before the nights activities. After finding it again in the rough as an unfinished photograph in my darkroom, I finally have finished it with digital equipment to this form. All persons in the photograph are CHG members, or were in 1995.
I just thought you would like to see it.
